This opportunity is for a pharmacist role in a specialty pharmacy setting, focused on long-term care responsibilities. The position is located in Bemidji, MN, with a contract duration of 13+ weeks. The work schedule primarily follows weekdays, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with some weekend hours required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pharmacy services tailored to long-term care patients
  • Manage medication therapy and coordinate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Ensure accurate dispensing and monitoring of pharmaceutical therapies
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
  • Participate in immunization administration and patient education when applicable

Desired Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree
  • Certification in Immunization and CPR credentials are required
  • Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification preferred
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working in specialty pharmacy or long-term care settings is a plus

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Some weekend coverage as needed
