Pharmacist in Parmelee, SD

This contract opportunity is ideal for licensed pharmacists ready to deliver essential care within a hospital and outpatient setting. The position offers flexibility for those licensed in any state and welcomes pharmacists from diverse backgrounds, including Tribal and Indian Health Service (IHS) experience. Immediate availability is preferred, with a commitment of at least 13 weeks.

Work Schedule:

• Position 1: 7 days on, 7 days off — night shifts
• Positions 2 & 3: Variable day and afternoon shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in both hospital and outpatient environments
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy best practices
• Provide counsel and education to patients regarding their prescriptions

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license in any U.S. state
• Experience in hospital and/or outpatient pharmacy settings preferred, but all backgrounds considered
• Ability to adapt to various shifts, including night and variable schedules
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient safety
