This opportunity is for a Night Shift Pharmacist position at a large, busy hospital in Houston, TX. The role offers a contract assignment beginning as soon as possible with a duration of 13 weeks or more. Flexible travel options are available for candidates open to relocating for this rewarding position.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense inpatient medications accurately and efficiently during night shifts
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient medication management
• Utilize electronic health record systems, preferably EPIC, for documentation and order verification
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Prepare and administer intravenous (IV) medications as required

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist license is required
• Texas IV certification is mandatory
• Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
