Travel Pharmacist in Paso Robles, CA

A healthcare facility on the California Central Coast is seeking four licensed pharmacists to fill travel assignments supporting inpatient pharmacy operations. These pivotal roles involve ensuring safe and efficient medication management within a dynamic hospital environment.

Available Positions: • 2 Day Shift Pharmacists: Work four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) • 2 Night Shift Pharmacists: Follow a 7-on, 7-off schedule with night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Location: San Luis Obispo, California

Role Responsibilities: • Verify and process medication orders accurately to meet patient care needs • Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure operational efficiency • Consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies and adjustments • Manage pharmacokinetic analyses and assist in clinical decision-making • Utilize pharmacy technologies including Cerner and Omnicell systems

Qualifications & Experience: • Active pharmacist license in California • Minimum of one year of current inpatient pharmacy experience • Strong clinical knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams • Adaptability to work rotating schedules and fast-paced settings
