Position Details:

• Location: San Luis Obispo, CA (Central Coast)
• Job Type: Travel
• Duration: 13 weeks minimum
• Start: ASAP

Schedules:

• Two Day Pharmacists working 4 ten-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Two Night Pharmacists working a 7-on/7-off schedule (9:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapies
• Manage pharmacokinetics to optimize therapeutic outcomes
• Utilize IT systems such as Cerner and Omnicell essential for daily operations

Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license is required
• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
