A hospital-based pharmacist role is available for a dedicated professional holding a valid Ohio Pharmacy License and hospital experience. This position offers a unique 7-days on/7-days off schedule with nighttime and early morning hours from 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working Thursday night through Thursday morning. The role operates as the sole pharmacist on site from 11:30 PM to 6:00 AM with Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) support throughout the night.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately review, interpret, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions
- Monitor patient medication therapy ensuring therapeutic appropriateness tailored to patient age and condition
- Maintain compliance with departmental policies, quality improvement programs, and regulatory standards
- Provide drug information and counseling to patients, families, healthcare providers
- Support medical emergencies through drug therapy management and medication preparation
- Coordinate pharmacy technician activities to meet patient care and organizational needs

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited U.S. pharmacy school
- Valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing
- Minimum one year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
