Inpatient Pharmacist | Paterson, New Jersey

This opportunity is for two experienced inpatient/IV pharmacy technicians to support overnight operations at a renowned hospital in New Jersey. The assignment is a 13-week contract beginning early January, offering a consistent 7-on/7-off overnight schedule.

Location:

• Morristown, NJ (just west of Newark)

Schedule:

• Overnight shift
• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Shift start times to be confirmed

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound intravenous (IV) medications accurately under hospital inpatient pharmacy protocols
• Manage inpatient medication dispensing efficiently and safely
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure compliance with hospital standards and patient safety regulations
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for medication orders and documentation

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an inpatient pharmacy technician with strong IV compounding skills
• Active New Jersey pharmacy technician license required
• PTCB certification mandatory
• Expertise in using EPIC EMR system preferred
• Proven ability to follow strict pharmacy protocols and ensure medication accuracy
