Seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide essential coverage in Pelham, AL, with an upcoming assignment in Soleo Hoover, AL for three days (Wednesday, September 2 through Friday, September 4). This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists with infusion experience or those experienced in inpatient settings, particularly with IV/TPN checking.

Location: Pelham, AL (with per diem coverage in Soleo Hoover, AL)
Schedule:

• Wednesday, 9/2: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday, 9/3: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday, 9/4: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately check and verify medications, including IV and TPN formulations
• Ensure patient safety through thorough review of infusion orders and inpatient medications
• Utilize CareTend system for verifying medication orders and documentation

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Alabama Pharmacist license in good standing
• Prior infusion pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience as an inpatient pharmacist with proficiency in checking IV/TPNs is acceptable
• Strong attention to detail in medication verification processes
• Familiarity with CareTend pharmacy system
