Lead the pharmacy operations at a Tribal Clinic as an Interim Pharmacy Supervisor, overseeing a dedicated team of pharmacists, technicians, and clerical staff to ensure exceptional medication management and patient care. This contract role offers the opportunity to apply leadership skills in a dynamic environment serving approximately 1,100 to 1,200 prescriptions weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct daily workflow of pharmacists, technicians, and clerks to deliver efficient pharmacy services.
  • Develop staff schedules aligned with operational requirements.
  • Mentor staff, conduct performance evaluations, and implement improvement plans.
  • Establish training programs, define job duties, and set competency standards.
  • Collaborate on department goals that reinforce broader organizational objectives.
  • Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and organization to meet regulatory standards.
  • Oversee daily reconciliation of medication and supply orders, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Lead a diverse team of 64 pharmacy professionals, including pharmacists, lead technicians, technicians, and clerical personnel.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science degree and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years pharmacist experience; at least 2 years preferred in hospital practice.
  • Current, active Pharmacist license required; Arizona state license preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills essential.
  • Availability to begin within 2-3 weeks following job acceptance.

Location:

  • This position is based in Peridot, AZ.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
