Pharmacist in Perry, OK

A 100-bed community hospital located approximately 1 to 1.5 hours north of Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join their night shift team. This opportunity is available on a permanent, temporary, or temp-to-hire basis, with a strong preference for candidates interested in a long-term role. The hospital currently operates with a 7 days on, 7 days off night schedule, utilizing Meditech IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct order verification and ensure accuracy and safety of medication orders
• Supervise pharmacy technicians during shifts
• Perform pharmacokinetics assessments
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy regulations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Oklahoma pharmacist license is required
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Comfortable working night shifts with a 7on/7off schedule
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Experience with Meditech IT system is a plus

Location:

• Perry, OK area; about an hour to an hour and a half north of Oklahoma City
