Key Responsibilities:
- Register and maintain standing as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board.
- Ensure pharmacy compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
- Manage pharmacy operations including budget, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and personnel performance.
- Lead and train pharmacy staff; ensure adherence to all training and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in business development and community health programs such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness initiatives.
- Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, interactions, and side effects.
- Monitor patient progress to optimize therapy outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and legally compliant pharmacy environment.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement and complete continuing education.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State pharmacist license.
- Immunization certification with confidence in vaccine administration.
- Strong leadership and regulatory compliance expertise.
- Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality assurance.
Schedule:
- Typically follows a 4x10 or 4x12 hour schedule (e.g., 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM).
- Evening shifts required at times; variable schedule.
