Key Responsibilities:

  • Register and maintain standing as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board.
  • Ensure pharmacy compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
  • Manage pharmacy operations including budget, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and personnel performance.
  • Lead and train pharmacy staff; ensure adherence to all training and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage in business development and community health programs such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness initiatives.
  • Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication use, interactions, and side effects.
  • Monitor patient progress to optimize therapy outcomes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and legally compliant pharmacy environment.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and complete continuing education.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State pharmacist license.
  • Immunization certification with confidence in vaccine administration.
  • Strong leadership and regulatory compliance expertise.
  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality assurance.

Schedule:

  • Typically follows a 4x10 or 4x12 hour schedule (e.g., 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM).
  • Evening shifts required at times; variable schedule.
