Per Diem Pharmacist

Per Diem Pharmacist :  4-6 Week Coverage Needed

We're looking for a certified Pharmacist to support a team in Philadelphia, PA! Coverage needed for at least the next 4–6 weeks, and there is plenty of flexibility provided!

Philadelphia is a great city with plenty to explore, and this opportunity offers the chance to work with an advanced pharmacy team in an engaging environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prescription intake/processing, dispensing, checking/verifying, inventory, and patient inquiries
• Utilize Pioneer RX system 
• Strong pharmacy technician support
• Dispense medications and ensure prescriptions are prepared correctly
• Perform final pharmacist verification before medications are released
• Review patient profiles for potential drug interactions, allergies, duplications, and more
• Communicate with patients and answer questions about medications, directions & refills
• Communicate with prescribers when needed
• Help resolve insurance or prescription-processing issues as needed

Experience:

• 2+ years of recent high-volume pharmacy experience preferred
