Per Diem Pharmacist in Phoenix, AZ

Support pharmacy operations in a dynamic retail and food store environment serving the greater Phoenix, AZ area. This per diem opportunity is ideal for pharmacists seeking flexible work schedules, helping to cover shifts during call outs, vacations, or increased volume. A team of 2-3 pharmacists is being built to provide reliable coverage across multiple pharmacy locations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert pharmaceutical care consistent with retail pharmacy standards.
• Manage an average daily prescription volume of 100-125 with strong technician assistance.
• Administer immunizations and maintain BLS certification compliance.
• Utilize QS1 system for pharmacy dispensing and documentation.
• Complete a dedicated 8-hour training shift to onboard efficiently.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Arizona with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience; preference given to candidates with 5+ years for higher compensation.
• Immunization privileges and current BLS card required.
• Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software preferred.
• Reliable and flexible availability, typically 2-4 days per week, including Mon-Sat pharmacy hours from approximately 10 AM to 7 PM.

Location:

• Pharmacies located throughout the greater Phoenix area.
• Commutable locations available; travel support provided for distances over 30 miles with mileage reimbursement, meals, and lodging covered when applicable.
