A retail pharmacist position is available in Phoenix, AZ, providing urgent backfill support on a per diem basis. The role requires coverage primarily on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, through March. This opportunity involves working with a small but dedicated team consisting of one pharmacist and three technicians, managing a script volume of under 100 per day using the Pioneer Rx system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and dispense medications prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring patient allergies are verified before dispensing.
• Respond to patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and in alignment with organizational policies.
• Deliver excellent customer service to foster positive patient interactions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of two years recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting, demonstrating strong knowledge and skills in retail pharmacy operations.
