An opportunity is available for a licensed Ohio pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a hospital inpatient setting. This travel role offers a dynamic Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with every sixth weekend coverage, followed by subsequent days off during the week. The position is based in Pickerington, OH, where you will deliver patient-centered medication management and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective drug therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, interpret, and verify medication orders and prescriptions with accuracy
  • Monitor and optimize patient medication therapies for therapeutic appropriateness and efficacy
  • Maintain compliance with departmental policies, quality improvement initiatives, and regulatory standards
  • Communicate drug information clearly to patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Participate in medication management during medical emergencies, including emergency calls and medication preparation
  • Coordinate pharmacy technician activities to support departmental and patient needs
  • Uphold organizational values including empathy, integrity, stewardship, agility, and teamwork in daily practice

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science or Pharm.D. from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing
  • At least one year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to critically analyze medication therapies and maintain high standards of patient safety

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Every 6th weekend coverage with compensatory days off during the week
