Provide expert pharmaceutical care in an inpatient hospital setting as a night shift pharmacist. This role offers a travel opportunity focused on delivering high-quality medication management and patient services. You will work a consistent schedule of 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off, from 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Thursday through Wednesday nights.

Location: Pickerington, OH (travel assignment)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, interpret, and dispense medication orders with accuracy and compliance to safety standards.
  • Monitor and manage patient medication therapies to ensure safe and effective treatment tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Maintain and adhere to departmental policies, quality improvement programs, and pharmacy regulations.
  • Provide drug information and education to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Respond to medical emergencies by assisting in medication preparation and ensuring availability of necessary medications.
  • Oversee and coordinate pharmacy technician activities to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Foster collaborative communication with healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
  • Uphold organizational values including empathy, integrity, stewardship, agility, and teamwork in all interactions and responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy school.
  • Valid Ohio pharmacy license in good standing.
  • Minimum of one year hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Schedule:

  • 7 nights on / 7 nights off
  • 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Thursday night through Wednesday night)
