Schedule:
- 7-days on / 7-days off
- On-week hours: 8:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Thursday night to Thursday morning)
- Sole pharmacist coverage from 11:30 PM to 6:00 AM with Certified Pharmacy Technician support
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately review, interpret, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions.
- Monitor and manage patient drug therapies to ensure efficacy, safety, and appropriateness.
- Maintain compliance with hospital pharmacy policies, quality programs, and regulatory standards.
- Provide drug information and counseling to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, assisting with medication preparation and ensuring adequate drug supplies.
- Coordinate pharmacy technician activities to support patient and organizational needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree from an accredited American college of pharmacy.
- Valid Ohio pharmacy license in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with medical staff and patients.
