A nighttime pharmacist position is available at a 120-bed Level III trauma center in Norfolk, NE. This contract opportunity offers a 13+ week assignment starting ASAP, focusing on providing expert pharmacy services during the night shift in a supportive clinical environment.

Schedule and Work Hours:

• Night shift: 8 PM to 7 AM
• 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday through Tuesday)
• Pharmacy technician support available during shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate medication orders with precision and accuracy
• Perform kinetic dosing to optimize patient therapy
• Conduct medication checks prior to distribution
• Respond to clinical questions from nursing staff promptly
• Oversee compounding activities during nighttime hours
• Fill outpatient prescriptions for Emergency Department patients throughout the night

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Nebraska Pharmacist license required
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC preferred; training provided as needed
