Pharmacist - Pineville, LA

Provide professional pharmacy services in a dynamic 200+ bed community hospital setting. This role calls for a licensed pharmacist skilled in order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, collaborating with healthcare teams, and managing pharmacokinetics to ensure optimal patient care.

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week
• 10 hours per shift
• Rotating and variable schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify medication orders to ensure patient safety.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow.
• Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring.
• Utilize technology systems such as EPIC and Pyxis for medication management.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Current pharmacy license with the ability to practice in Louisiana.
• Experience working in hospital pharmacy settings, especially with sizeable community hospitals.
