Per Diem Pharmacist - Pittsburgh, PA

Provide pharmaceutical expertise in a retail setting to ensure safe and efficient medication delivery to customers. This per diem opportunity is based in Pennsylvania and involves coverage beginning August 7th with first-shift hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing medications accurately under the direct supervision of the pharmacy manager
• Counseling and advising patients on their medications and treatment regimens
• Addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in alignment with organizational policies
• Maintaining stock levels and managing controlled drug records and inventories
• Resolving patient issues and clarifying third-party insurance coverage questions

Qualifications:

• Clear and active pharmacist license in Pennsylvania
• A minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Pioneer pharmacy software preferred

Schedule/Hours:

• First shift
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
