A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations in a community retail setting in Plattsburgh, NY. This role demands a pharmacist committed to regulatory excellence, patient care, and operational management within a dynamic schedule that includes evening shifts on occasion.

Location: Plattsburgh, NY
Schedule/Hours:

• Variable schedule with evenings required at times
• Typical shifts follow 4x10 or 4x12 hour patterns (e.g., 8am-8pm)

Responsibilities:

• Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy
• Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, pharmacy board regulations, and company policies
• Manage complete pharmacy operations, including financial targets such as budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control
• Oversee pharmacy support personnel, including performance management, training, and accountability for regulatory adherence
• Participate in community and business development activities to promote pharmacy services
• Lead patient-centered services, including immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs
• Provide counseling to patients and healthcare providers on medication use, side effects, and ensuring optimized therapeutic outcomes
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives to uphold patient safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
• Complete all company and state-mandated continuing education requirements

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License
• Immunization Certification with demonstrated proficiency administering all required vaccines
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a pharmacy team
