A specialized opportunity is available for a Pharmacist with expertise in chemotherapy and outpatient infusion therapy. This role focuses on delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care within an outpatient infusion pharmacy, working directly alongside oncologists to ensure optimal medication therapy for patients undergoing infusion treatments.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, verify, and dispense chemotherapy and infusion medications with accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate closely with oncologists and healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy regimens.
• Monitor patients’ responses to treatment and make necessary interventions to ensure safety and efficacy.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and documentation requirements specific to infusion therapies.
• Provide patient education regarding medication use, side effects, and supportive care measures.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with demonstrated experience in chemotherapy and outpatient infusion pharmacy.
• Solid understanding of oncology treatment protocols and medication management.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently within a fast-paced outpatient clinical environment.
