A part-time Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) position is available at an opioid treatment center near Alexandria, Louisiana. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy operations as the Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring smooth and compliant workflow.
• Conduct thorough chart reviews and maintain precise documentation.
• Verify and fill prescriptions as needed, especially when technician support is unavailable.
• Complete internal reports and forms utilizing Microsoft Excel.
• Ensure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Work independently with limited patient interaction unless consultation is requested.
• No billing or insurance tasks involved, allowing focus on clinical and operational duties.

Qualifications:

• Active Louisiana Pharmacist license in good standing without any negative history.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience.
• Experience in substance abuse or opioid treatment preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required to manage reporting responsibilities.

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
• 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM (20 hours per week)
