Responsibilities include:

• Order verification to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medications
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Collaborating closely with physicians and nurses to provide pharmaceutical consultation
• Applying pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient medication regimens
• Utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and record-keeping

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with active credentials in the state of Louisiana
• Experience working within a hospital or similar healthcare setting
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems preferred
• Strong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to manage a varied and rotating schedule effectively

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Varying and rotating schedule to meet hospital needs
