Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense and counsel on HIV/AIDS medications with accuracy and sensitivity
- Build trust with patients through respectful, non-judgmental interactions
- Use QS1 software proficiently for daily pharmacy operations
- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers and pharmacy team members
- Proactively identify and address pharmacy workflow needs to maintain smooth operations
- Maintain a high standard of patient care and support at all times
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Florida pharmacist license
- At least 1-2 years of retail or specialty pharmacy experience, specifically with HIV/AIDS drug dispensing
- Demonstrated understanding and sensitivity toward the HIV/AIDS patient community
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Dependability with a strong commitment to attendance and punctuality
- Positive, proactive attitude with good pharmacy intuition
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- No weekend shifts
Location:
- Primarily at a community health pharmacy site with occasional per diem opportunities available at additional local pharmacy locations
