A renowned children’s hospital located in Hollywood, FL, is seeking two dedicated inpatient pharmacists to join their team on a 13-week contract. Positioned conveniently between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, this facility offers a dynamic healthcare environment focused on pediatric care.

Two shifts are available:

• Day Shift: 12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., with rotating weekends (five 8-hour shifts)
• Overnight Shift: 11 p.m. to 7:15 a.m., with rotating weekends (five 8-hour shifts)

Candidates with prior pediatric and NICU experience are highly preferred, as the role involves specialized inpatient duties including pediatric medication dosing. Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records is essential to ensure seamless integration into the hospital’s workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage inpatient medication dispensing and clinical pharmacy services
• Perform precise pediatric dosing and monitoring, adapting to the unique needs of pediatric patients
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize patient safety and medication efficacy
• Utilize EPIC EMR system effectively for documentation and communication

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and valid Florida pharmacist license in good standing
• Proven experience in pediatric pharmacy and NICU settings strongly preferred
