A retail pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to fulfill a per diem role covering PRN needs. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while receiving training to fully understand the pharmacy’s workflow.
Location: Pompano Beach, FL
Job Type: Per Diem
Schedule:
- Training this week (hours to be determined)
- Next week: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive training to learn the pharmacy’s operational flow
- Provide accurate dispensing of prescription medications
- Counsel patients on medication usage and safety
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida pharmacist license in good standing
- At least 1 year of recent experience working in a pharmacy setting
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new procedures during training
