Pharmacist - Portage, Wisconsin

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a licensed pharmacist to work in a retail pharmacy setting using the Pioneer RX system. The role is based in Portage, WI, operating Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with a possibility of working every other Saturday. The assignment is for 13 weeks with potential extension or transition to direct hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide excellent patient counseling and ensure appropriate medication use.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Utilize the Pioneer RX computer system to manage prescriptions and maintain records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and staff to optimize patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Wisconsin pharmacy license.
• Proven retail pharmacy experience.
• Working knowledge of the Pioneer RX pharmacy computer system is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Possible every other Saturday.
