Pharmacist - Porterville, California

Support a seamless transition from Cerner to EPIC as a pharmacist specialist during an 8-week contract assignment in Porterville, CA. This unique opportunity involves staffing coverage in the evenings while permanent personnel focus on implementing and troubleshooting new EMR software. Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacy coverage for evening shifts from 3:00 pm to 3:30 am, working 12-hour shifts.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain operations as permanent staff implement the EPIC EMR system.
• Utilize expertise in both Cerner and EPIC software to assist with troubleshooting and smooth workflow integration.
• Fulfill all pharmacist licensing and compliance requirements within California.
• Participate in orientation sessions scheduled for either August 3rd or August 17th before contract start.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active California pharmacist license.
• BLS certification.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing both Cerner and EPIC EMR systems within the last five years.
• Previous employment or successful contract experience involving Cerner and EPIC platforms.
• Ability and willingness to work up to 48 hours per week across scheduled evening shifts.
