Pharmacist - Porterville, CA

Support a critical EMR conversion project as a Pharmacist specializing in Cerner and Epic systems. This role is essential in maintaining pharmacy operations while the permanent staff focuses on implementing and troubleshooting new software.

Contract Details:

• 8-week contract focused on EPIC EMR conversion
• Evenings: 3:00 pm to 3:30 am (12-hour shifts)
• Required availability up to 48 hours per week
• Orientation available August 3rd or August 17th

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmacy services during the transition from Cerner to Epic EMR systems
• Assist with clinical and operational support during the conversion period
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
• Troubleshoot and support medication management workflows within the new system

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current California pharmacist license (CA license) required
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated recent experience (within last 5 years) working as an employee or on contract using both Cerner and Epic EMR platforms
• Proven ability to work extended shifts and manage high workload demands during the conversion
