An opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist in Portland, OR, offering a contract position with an ASAP start. This role provides variable afternoon shifts, allowing for some flexibility in your schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients according to prescription orders.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and electronic health records.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Assist with inpatient pharmacy operations including medication preparation and inventory control.

Qualifications:

• Current Oregon Pharmacist License is required.
• Experience in an inpatient setting preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work variable afternoon shifts effectively.
