Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist

A respected hospital system in Portland, OR is in need of an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist, for a full-time day shift position. 

Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Variable Days/Afternoons (no nights)
• Type: 13-Week Contract-to-Hire | Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Comp: Competitive Weekly Pay + Full Benefits Package

Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense medications in an inpatient hospital environment
• Review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to optimize patient care
• Perform clinical interventions and monitor patient medication therapies
• Utilize Cerner and Pyxis for pharmacy operations and medication management
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Oregon Pharmacist License in good standing 
• Recent inpatient pharmacist experience  
• Experience with Cerner and Pyxis strongly preferred
• Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills
