A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to provide essential inpatient pharmacy services in Arizona. This role involves working closely with healthcare teams in a fast-paced environment to ensure safe and effective medication use.
Location:
- Arizona, with assignments based in a hospital setting
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
- Flexible scheduling options, including four 10-hour days per week or a 7-on/7-off rotation
Key Responsibilities:
- Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and safety
- Consulting with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies and patient care
- Applying pharmacokinetic principles to optimize drug dosing and patient outcomes
- Supporting inpatient care through active participation in multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona pharmacist license required
- Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge with excellent communication and supervisory skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
