Pharmacist in Pottstown, PA

A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support an 80-bed community hospital in Pottstown, PA. This role offers a flexible day-shift schedule with options for either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week, with no weekends or holiday work required. The assignment is set to begin ASAP and is expected to last 13 weeks or longer.

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care, and managing pharmacokinetics processes. Experience with hospital pharmacy systems such as EPIC and Pyxis is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication management systems
