A temporary opportunity is available for a Relief Pharmacist to provide essential coverage in a pharmacy located in New Paltz, NY. This role will support ongoing pharmacist recruitment efforts and cover planned vacation or leave periods, ensuring seamless pharmacy operations and quality patient care during the assignment.
Schedule & Location:
- Location: New Paltz, NY
- Assignment Dates: Approximately July 15 – August 21
- Hours: 20–40 hours per week
- Schedule: Standard weekday hours, no weekend coverage
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmacist coverage to support daily pharmacy functions
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and compliance
- Assist with specialty pharmacy procedures as needed
- Maintain pharmacy workflow and uphold patient care standards
- Adhere to pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active New York Pharmacist license in good standing
- Preferred experience with specialty pharmacy operations
