A healthcare organization in the greater Phoenix area is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy to oversee pharmacy operations at two Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospitals. This contract opportunity requires a leader with a strong background in pharmacy management and clinical expertise to ensure high-quality pharmaceutical services across both facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage all pharmacy operations within the two LTAC hospitals
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and pharmacy standards
• Oversee medication distribution, inventory management, and formulary development
• Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
• Collaborate with medical and nursing leadership to optimize patient outcomes
• Implement quality improvement initiatives related to pharmacy services

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with current credentials to practice
• Proven experience in pharmacy leadership roles, preferably as a Director of Pharmacy
• In-depth knowledge of pharmacy operations within hospital or LTAC settings
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lead multiple teams across different locations effectively
