A pharmacist opportunity is available within a rehab hospital setting in the Boston area, offering a contract position with an immediate start. This role is designed for licensed pharmacists looking to apply their skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. The assignment is for 13 weeks or longer, working Monday through Friday during daytime hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and dispensing medications in accordance with physician prescriptions and hospital protocols
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and medication management
• Utilizing electronic health record systems, specifically Epic and Pyxis, to manage prescriptions and inventory
• Maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Massachusetts; retail and new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations, especially within rehabilitation settings, is advantageous
• Proficient in using pharmacy IT systems such as Epic and Pyxis
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
