Pharmacist - Quincy, MA

This temporary-to-permanent role offers a unique opportunity to apply your pharmacy expertise in a remote setting supporting Part B drug and biologic prior authorization processes. The position requires a licensed Pharmacist who can deliver clinical evaluation and utilization management within a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Location: Remote (licensed Pharmacists nationwide eligible)
Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM EST
• Mandatory weekend and holiday rotation
• No regular days off except emergencies during contract period (10/01/2026 to 03/31/2027)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and make authorization decisions on Part B drug and biologic prior authorization requests and appeals
• Apply Medicare policies, clinical criteria, and utilization management guidelines accurately
• Provide clinical expertise and support to internal teams regarding Part B drug policies and workflows
• Identify and suggest improvements to enhance review quality, accuracy, and operational efficiency
• Adapt to dynamic workflows and maintain consistent quality under changing volumes and priorities

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• PharmD degree with active pharmacist licensure in at least one U.S. state
• Minimum 2 years of experience in utilization management, managed care residency, or specialty pharmacy
• Strong clinical judgment with proven ability to independently evaluate complex Part B drug requests
• Experience reviewing Medicare Part B drug prior authorizations and appeals highly preferred
• Prior utilization management experience is a significant advantage
