Pharmacist - Racine, Wisconsin

A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist specializing in chemotherapy and outpatient infusion therapy. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with experience in oncology medication management and a commitment to optimizing patient care in an infusion pharmacy setting.

Location: Milwaukee, WI
Schedule: Monday through Friday, day shifts

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating closely with oncologists to develop and verify medication therapy regimens for oncology patients
• Preparing and dispensing chemotherapy and other infusion medications in the outpatient setting
• Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards related to chemo and infusion therapies
• Monitoring patient responses and adjusting medications in coordination with the healthcare team
• Providing counseling and education to patients on their infusion treatments and medication adherence

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with experience in chemo and outpatient infusion pharmacy
• Strong knowledge of oncology pharmacotherapy and infusion techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively with medical specialists and interdisciplinary teams
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and quality care
