Per Diem Pharmacist - Radcliff, Kentucky

A Pharmacist opportunity is available at a 25-bed critical access hospital with an 18-bed skilled nursing facility located approximately 1.5 hours south of Louisville, KY. This per diem position provides essential pharmacy support within a small hospital setting, ensuring high-quality medication management and patient care.

Location: Radcliff, KY
Schedule:

• October 12th to October 16th
• Shift hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders promptly and accurately
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Provide consultative support on pharmaceutical care within the hospital and skilled nursing facility
• Utilize Cerner and MedDispense systems for medication management and documentation
• Support daily pharmacy operations with a focus on patient safety and regulatory compliance

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Kentucky pharmacist license
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred, ideally within a critical access environment
• Strong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
