A contract opportunity is available for a Pharmacist at a Critical Access Hospital in Ranchos De Taos, NM, offering a unique experience in a close-knit healthcare environment with a maximum census of 25 patients. Location:

• Ranchos De Taos, NM

Schedule:

• Day shifts
• 3 shifts per week
• 12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00)

Duration:

• 13 weeks minimum

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and oversight
• Consult closely with physicians and nurses regarding patient medication management
• Participate in pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Support inpatient pharmacy operations in a critical access hospital environment

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist or eligible for a New Mexico temporary license
• Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong clinical knowledge and effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
