Schedule:
- Day shifts
- 3 shifts per week
- 12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00)
Duration:
- 13 weeks minimum
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
- Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and oversight
- Consult closely with physicians and nurses regarding patient medication management
- Participate in pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
- Support inpatient pharmacy operations in a critical access hospital environment
Qualifications:
- Licensed pharmacist or eligible for a New Mexico temporary license
- Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience
- Strong clinical knowledge and effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
