This opportunity is ideal for an experienced pharmacist ready to provide essential pharmaceutical care in a critical access hospital setting. The role is based in Ranchos De Taos, NM, serving a facility with a patient capacity of approximately 25.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care.
- Conduct pharmacokinetic monitoring and assessments.
Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain a temporary license.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of medication management in a hospital environment.
Schedule:
- Day shifts: 3 shifts per week, each 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00)
