Pharmacist - Redwood Valley, California

An opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services in an outpatient retail setting affiliated with a hospital in Willits, CA. This role offers a chance to work closely with a dedicated team supporting patient care through medication management and counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions ensuring safety and compliance with regulations
• Oversee pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and ensuring efficient workflow
• Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications to promote safe and effective use
• Utilize Cerner pharmacy IT systems for order processing and documentation
• Maintain adherence to pharmacy policies and procedures in all operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license is required
• Experience working in a retail or outpatient pharmacy environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork
• Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy software is beneficial
