Pharmacist | Redwood Valley, California

A pharmacist position is available in an outpatient pharmacy setting affiliated with a hospital. This contract role offers day shifts and is based in Redwood Valley, CA, serving patients in the Willits area.

Responsibilities include accurately filling and verifying prescriptions, supervising pharmacy technicians, and providing counseling to patients regarding both prescription and over-the-counter medications. Utilization of the Cerner electronic health record system is part of daily operations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Experience in retail pharmacy preferred
• Strong knowledge of prescription verification and patient counseling
• Ability to oversee and guide pharmacy technicians effectively
• Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health records is beneficial

This contract assignment is expected to last at least 16 weeks, with a start date as soon as possible.
