A healthcare facility in Willits, CA is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a 16-week contract position in their outpatient pharmacy, attached to a hospital setting. Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions
• Oversee and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Counsel patients on prescription and over-the-counter medications to ensure safe and effective use
• Utilize Cerner electronic health records system for prescription processing and documentation
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current California Pharmacist License required
• Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner software is beneficial
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills
• Ability to work independently and lead pharmacy technicians effectively
