Pharmacist in Reisterstown, MD

This opportunity is for a Home Infusion Clinical Pharmacist to support specialized infusion services in a dynamic home care environment. The role involves providing expert oversight and management of IV compounding, including Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) preparations, while leading and collaborating with pharmacy technicians to ensure safe and effective medication delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee sterile compounding of IV medications and TPN formulations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Manage and support pharmacy technicians involved in home infusion preparation and dispensing
• Maintain accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory guidelines within the infusion pharmacy setting
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes through clinical interventions and medication management

Qualifications and Experience:

• Recent and demonstrable experience in home infusion pharmacy practice
• Proficiency in sterile compounding techniques, with up-to-date knowledge of USP <797> standards
• Active, unrestricted Maryland pharmacy license
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage pharmacy technicians effectively

Schedule:

• Wednesday through Friday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm

This is a 60-day contract assignment requiring signed agreements prior to engagement.
