Retail Pharmacist In Charge

A retail pharmacy in Nevada is seeking an Interim Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for immediate coverage. This short-term 6–8 week assignment requires a pharmacist ready to step into a leadership role quickly and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll be supported by an experienced technician team, making this a great opportunity for a confident pharmacist who can hit the ground running.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge and assume PIC responsibilities with the Nevada Board of Pharmacy
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
• Verify prescriptions and ensure accurate dispensing
• Maintain workflow efficiency and patient safety standards

Qualifications:

• Active Nevada Pharmacist License (required)
• Willingness to take on PIC designation with the Nevada Board of Pharmacy
• Previous retail pharmacy experience required
• Prior PIC or leadership experience preferred

Work Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
