A pharmacist role is available to support inpatient pharmacy distribution functions. This position involves key responsibilities like order verification, final product checks, and answering clinical questions, ensuring accurate and safe medication management.

Position Details:

• Location: Renton, WA (near Seattle)
• Job Type: Contract (16 weeks +, with potential Temp-to-Hire)
• Schedule: Variable days and afternoons, 8-hour shifts
• ASAP start

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders using Epic system
• Conduct final product verification checks prior to distribution
• Provide clinical drug information and answer related questions
• Oversee pharmacy technician duties to maintain workflow efficiency
• Participate in Code Blue and emergency response efforts
• Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis for pharmacy operations

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in inpatient pharmacy settings
• Proficient in Epic electronic health record and Pyxis medication systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order verification
• Ability to communicate effectively regarding clinical drug information
• Experience supervising pharmacy technicians is preferred
• Comfortable responding to emergency situations such as Code Blue events
