Support inpatient pharmacy operations by verifying orders, conducting final product checks, and managing pharmacy technician activities at a hospital in Renton, WA. This position requires adherence to safety protocols and active participation in emergency responses.
Schedule/Hours:
- Variable days and afternoons
- 8-hour shifts
Responsibilities:
• Verify medication orders using Epic system
• Perform final product verification
• Respond to clinical inquiries and provide drug information
• Supervise pharmacy technician functions
• Participate in Code Blue and emergency response teams
• Utilize IT systems including Epic and Pyxis for medication management
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
• Valid Washington State pharmacist license
• Full-time availability with immediate start
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy environment
• Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis systems preferred
Location: Renton, WA (Seattle area)
This contract opportunity is expected to last at least 16 weeks, with potential to convert to a permanent role. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and ready to contribute to a dynamic clinical environment.
