Pharmacist in Renton, WA

A healthcare facility in the Bellevue, WA area is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support specialty and oncology infusion pharmacy operations. This contract position offers an opportunity to contribute expertise to critical medication distribution services within a dynamic clinical setting.

Responsibilities include verifying medication orders using the Epic system, performing final product verification checks, answering clinical and drug information queries, and overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians. The role is integral to ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient handling of oncology infusion therapies in alignment with USP 797 and 800 standards.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Washington State Pharmacist license and bring relevant experience in infusion or oncology pharmacy practice. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, including Epic, and automated dispensing technologies such as Pyxis, is strongly preferred. In addition, the ability to float to a nearby Seattle location occasionally may be required.

Schedule and contract details:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts
• Approximately 16 weeks in duration with an ASAP start date

Key qualifications:

• Washington State Pharmacist license (required)
• Experience in infusion or oncology pharmacy settings
• Proficient with Epic electronic medical records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems
• Knowledge of USP 797/800 standards for sterile compounding
• Ability to supervise pharmacy technician activities effectively
• Flexibility to float to Seattle as needed
