A pharmacist position is available to support specialty and oncology infusion pharmacy distribution functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe and accurate medication verification and providing clinical support in a busy infusion setting.
Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders using the Epic system
- Perform final product verification checks
- Respond to clinical questions and provide drug information
- Oversee pharmacy technician activities to maintain smooth operations
- May float to nearby Seattle location as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State Pharmacist license
- Experience in infusion or oncology pharmacy preferred
- Knowledge of USP 797 and 800 standards for sterile preparation
- Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis systems essential
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday day shifts
- Assignment begins ASAP for approximately 16 weeks
