A hospital is seeking an experienced pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care in a critical role supporting inpatient medication management. This position requires an Ohio pharmacy license and hospital setting experience, operating on a 7-days on/7-days off schedule with night shifts.

Location: Reynoldsburg, OH
Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Workweek runs Thursday 8:00 PM to Thursday 7:30 AM
• Sole pharmacist coverage from 11:30 PM to 6:00 AM with pharmacy technician support

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately review, interpret, and dispense medication orders ensuring patient safety
• Monitor and manage patient medication therapies for effectiveness and appropriateness
• Provide timely drug information and guidance to patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Support emergency drug therapy management including medication preparation and response
• Oversee pharmacy technician activities during assigned shifts to meet patient and department needs
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory guidelines, and quality standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelor of Science or Pharm.D. from an accredited pharmacy school
• Valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing
• Minimum one year hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with medical staff and patients
