Travel Retail Pharmacist in Richfield Springs, NY

A reputable health system in Cooperstown, New York is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for their outpatient retail pharmacy. This full-time travel assignment offers an opportunity to work in a high-volume setting within a respected integrated health network serving Central New York's rural community. Location:

• Cooperstown, New York (primary)
• Occasional coverage at Oneonta and Delhi locations as needed

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Dispense approximately 1,100 prescriptions weekly in a high-volume outpatient retail pharmacy
• Participate in Meds to Beds program for hospital patients
• Provide immunization services to the community
• Collaborate with healthcare teams using PioneerRx Pharmacy Management System and EPIC EMR for patient data management
• Maintain excellent customer service standards, ensuring patient satisfaction and compliance
• Cover occasional shifts at neighboring locations for vacation or sick coverage

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License in good standing
• Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings required
• Previous high-volume dispensing experience preferred
• Familiarity with PioneerRx and EPIC systems highly desirable
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong customer service skills, aligned with client’s non-negotiable standards
• Flexibility to provide coverage at Oneonta and Delhi locations as needed
