A 6-month assignment is available for a Night Shift Pharmacist at a 200-bed community hospital in Indiana. This contract position offers an ASAP start with the potential to transition to a permanent role. The schedule consists of 7 consecutive nights on followed by 7 nights off, working from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, managing pharmacokinetics, and collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care. This role utilizes the EPIC electronic health record system, so familiarity with this platform is essential.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A valid Indiana pharmacist license
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience
- Ability to effectively work night shifts
- Strong communication and supervisory skills
